Staffs meet. Heads again confer with Director 3pm & arrange for the children to return to school.

Arrangement. The Infants Department to give four classrooms to Boys & Girls viz. Std I, II Boys, Std I & II Girls. The other classes to share with Roath Park and Albany Rd. (III & IV to Roath Park Seniors to Albany Road). Continue reading “Arrangements for children to return to school”

Mr William Thomas & Mr Phillips, local Inspectors, met staffs for discussions. Head Teachers called to the office for 11am conference with Director.

Head Teacher interviewed the Director of Education at the City Hall. No school in session. Continue reading “No school in session”

11.50pm Marlborough Rd School was destroyed by enemy action in the Boys, Girls, Domestic & Manual Departments.

The Infants building was damaged to the extent of broken windows & ceiling, it suffered no structural demolition. Playground a sea of glass.
