Parents were circularised & invited to attend a meeting at the school 3pm on Friday Jan 24th when a discussion took place. The Head Teachers of the Upper Departments were also present.
Chief points raised by the parents were:
(1) Would children be billeted in homes or camps.
(2) Relating to Scholarship ?? Examination.
(3) Religion, would they be with their own denomination.
(4) Where was it proposed to send them.
Only about 15 parents expressed a wish to have their children evacuated.
