We will be celebrating all things Welsh in the first week back after Half Term, Monday 25th – Friday 28th February, culminating in our Eisteddfod on Friday 28th in the afternoon. Please could your child wear a Welsh costume or Welsh colours to school on Friday. Each class will be performing a short presentation for the other classes in their phase on their Welsh Week learning journey. Pupil Voice has chosen the focus to be The Six Nations and they will be investigating the many aspects of the tournament and players. Classes could also be undertaking a range of activities from cooking leek and potato soup and learning Welsh folk dances and songs to creating animated short films of a rugby game. In the table below you can see an example of how the Four Purposes and the 6 AoLE (Areas of Learning Experience) could be covered in class.
