Marlborough Lest We Forget
On Monday 30th September Marlborough will be transported back to September 1939. The children will take part in a host of activities provided by external partners such as The Firing Line Workshop, The Museum of Cardiff and a WWII theatre group. The school will be dressed using authentic props, a vintage bus will take children on a journey around the school grounds.
The event which launches a history project into WWII, will engage pupils from across the whole school in a multisensory immersion day where they can experience first-hand what it was like to live during the war. It would be wonderful if all children could come to school dressed in 1930s / 1940s style clothes.
