I started at Marlborough as an NQT in September 2001. Many changes have taken place since my arrival with staff coming and going, yet it feels just like yesterday that I started 
my teaching career here.
I live with my husband, two wonderful sons and our cockerpoo Sonny. We love taking Sonny for walks in the local parks as a family and especially if there’s a playground and ice-cream in it for the boys!!
Family time is so precious – be it a hot sunny day or a blustery winter’s morning there’s nothing like a relaxing stroll along the beach.
A guilty pleasure of mine is sitting down of an evening to a medical drama or a great thriller. I have a real mix of musical tastes- from late 80s, and 90s to musical classics.
With 2 young boys as you can imagine, we don’t get many opportunities to dine out that often. Luckily my husband is an excellent cook and loves trying out new dishes from all over the world. I must say though, so there is nothing better than settling down on a Saturday night with his speciality – steak and chips.
My top character strength is Judgement.
